Welcome to Starfall Events, a Devon based fantasy events company creating unforgettable experiences for book lovers, romantasy addicts, adventure seekers and anyone who has ever wished they could step inside the pages of their favourite story.

From spectacular fantasy balls and candlelit evenings to creative gatherings, immersive experiences and adventures still waiting to be dreamed up, Starfall Events exists to bring the worlds we usually escape into through books to life in the real world.

Think beautiful venues, elaborate details, costumes, music, cocktails, characters, magic and a room full of people who already understand exactly why you stayed up until 2am reading just one more chapter.

And behind all of this? Me. Hi. 👋

I’m Lauren, a book mad, adventure seeking, perpetually overstimulated mum from sleepy Devon, with a head full of far too many ideas and a caffeine habit that probably deserves its own event category.

I’ve spent most of my life reading, but somewhere amongst postpartum life, nappies and the general chaos of motherhood, I lost the part of me that disappeared happily into a book.

Then came ACOTAR.

Otherwise known as the gateway reading cult.

It pulled me back into the worlds I’d always loved, reignited that little spark of obsession and, naturally, I bullied approximately thirty other people into becoming equally obsessed.

Somewhere along the way, a slightly ridiculous thought became a slightly less ridiculous idea.

What if we could actually step inside these worlds?

With my best friend Charlotte, the acting angel AND devil on my shoulder, and the Nesta to my Bryce, beside me, Starfall Events was born.

Our very first event, An Evening of Starlight, winnowed its way into Dartmoor Whisky Distillery on Saturday 24th October 2026, just in time for A Court of Splintered Harmony.

And that’s only the beginning.

There are already plenty of wildly exciting, wonderfully whimsical and potentially unhinged ideas waiting in the wings. From new fantasy events to creative evenings, immersive adventures and things I probably shouldn’t announce until I’ve had a sensible conversation with myself.
